You are actually changing planes, not just stopping to let some passengers off. So, no you do not stay on the plane.

No you do not have to stay on the plane. You more than likely will be getting on plane at a different gate. Make sure before you leave. Atlanta Hartsfield is a pretty good size airport. Have fun on your trip.

You have to change planes. Be warned though, ATL is a HUGE airport!!! Go to your gate as soon as you get off your first flight!

This is not 1 stop. You are changing planes in Atlanta. Make sure you have enough time to go from gate to gate. Another tip is don't check your luggage when changing planes. The airlines often loose luggage on connecting flights. Will

You're changing planes in Atlanta, so you need to get off the plane when you land. You will be on flight 1428 to Atlanta, and then flight 8992 to West Palm Beach, so what you want to do is get off the flight when you reach Hartsfield-Jackson, then follow the signboards for flight connections. Clear security, and then you should be able to find flight 8992 on the departure screens. Once you do, go to the announced gate and wait to board. The only thing you need to make sure of is that when you check in at Minneapolis, you tell the ticket agent to check your bags all the way to West Palm Beach. This is very important, because if he/she only checks them to Atlanta, you'll have to go to the baggage claim and then re-check in. Just tell them to tag the suitcase to West Palm Beach, and they'll understand. That way, you won't have to bother with it in Atlanta, and your bags will arrive safe and sound with you :) Good luck!
