The 'Flying Imams' and the follwing lawsuit: how in the WORLD could this happen

The 'Flying Imams' and the follwing lawsuit: how in the WORLD could this happen?!?
for those of our friends who aren't familiar with this: Six Muslim imams were removed from a US Airways flight at Minneapolis- St. Paul International Airport and questioned by police for several hours before being released, a leader of the group said. The six were among passengers who boarded Flight 300, bound for Phoenix, around 6:30 p.m., airport spokesman Pat Hogan said. A passenger initially raised concerns about the group through a note passed to a flight attendant, according to Andrea Rader, a spokeswoman for US Airways. She said police were called after the captain and airport security workers asked the men to leave the plane and the men refused. NOW the imams have filed lawsuits against the people on the plane that reported their suspicious and disruptive behavior, chanting 'Allah is great' saying how great Sadaam was, and talking s#it about the US. if upheld, the people who reported stand to lose their houses, life savings, etc. how can the liberal dems justify this?

And Congress wonders why they have such low approval rating. It is becoming clear to us that the American citizen is at the bottom of their list of concerns.

why do you ask this of Liberals. Most lawyers that chase ambulances and this type of lawsuit are Conservatives.

A court of law will justify it or not. If liberal democrats or any other political group decides to override that court of law then we live in a country without law. Can you understand that? The courts are not the same as congress or the white house. What we do is trust that a basically intelligent judge and jury will do the right thing and we get the hell out of their way so they can do it. If they fail and do something unjust the the court and the jury are at fault not liberal democrats or conservative republicans or socialist or libertarians or any other group. Not every damn thing in this country is or should be political.

That is what makes it a land of the laws. Now I seriously doubt the people who complained will lose anything. Now chanting "Allah is great" is there anything wrong with that. If someone favors Saddam for any reason it might be sickening but is it illegal. The imams did not break any laws. they got questioned they got released things should end here. Nobody attacked them nobody insulted them so they don't have a case. Now the people who complained since they were saying "Allah is great' are the people who are mentally sick and living in fear all the time. They are the one who needs to grow up. just because someone is Muslim and someone is saying 'Allah is Great' does not make them a terrorist. It is our government and media selling you fear and you are buying it.

If I were to choose between Lawyers and Terrorists I would have scant preference.

When in Rome, one should do as the Romans. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, but as we've all heard, that does not entitle on to yell "FIRE!!" in a movie theater. Just as the ten commandments were taken out of the Alambama courthouse, prayer is no longer allowed in school, and the Gideons are no longer allowed to pass out Bibles in gradeschools, so should these other religious people be monitored and contained where it is not appropriate. If a small group started singing and chanting Christian/Gospel Hymns on a plane or in a government meeting place, they would be shut down by someone who was offended. They would be expected to stop. Is it any different for these Muslems? Does the fact that their religion is different from ours make it any different? I say no. Our women wear cross necklaces, some men wear lapel pins, etc. to show what they believe. That is fine, unthreatening, and tasteful. The muslems also have their way of outward appearance that shows who they are. This does not give them the right to be offensive, loud, or make others fearful. In the light of 9-11 and other happenings, they can be fearful. This is not always justified, but that's just the fact in this country. So......when in Rome, etc. etc. =================================== Jeez Happy! Ya sure got me started on a rant this time!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Oops! I just crapped my pants again.....thanks a lot, Buddy!!!
